Our New Prime Minister.

At long last we are rid of Tony Blair, quite possibly the most hideous human being ever to possess the title of Prime Minister.  From today our new P.M. will be Gordon Brown, the former Chancellor who found the funds for Mr Blair’s dastardly deeds.  I would dearly love to be wrong of course, but my thoughts about the new Prime Minister can be summed up quite succinctly by the following phrase –

“$ame $h*t, different a$$hole”

  1. I’m hoping that he’s been a closet socialist all these years and has been playing the long game. And now he’s made it to number 10, he’ll suddenely throw off his Blairite cloak and become the PM that we hope for and deserve. But I could be wrong.

  2. I have this horrible feeling that your hopes will be dashed soon enough, madbadhairday. I suspect Brown is as much of a closet socialist as I am a closet conservative. Still, without hope, we’d have nothing. Fingers crossed anyway, eh?
