Where’s The “Suicide Belt”?

missing-belt.jpg

The front page of todays Independent carried the above picture of the man who emerged in flames from the jeep that crashed into Glasgow Airport’s entrance on Saturday.   According to all the media reports I listened to over the weekend, at the hospital this man was found to have a “device” on him that is widely reported to have been a suicide belt.  I’ve spent most of the day looking at the above picture, and I cannot see a device on this man at all.  I cannot believe that the Police Officers on the scene would allow this terrorist suspect to be taken to hospital without checking him for “devices” first.

Something does not add up.

One Response to “Where’s The “Suicide Belt”?”

  1. The ‘belt’ has been reported as a ‘non-entity’, however, a number of suspect devices have been found at the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley where the ‘perp’ was taken … it has since transpired that one of the suspects was working at the RAH as a junior doctor …
