George Galloway…

…. and I have not always seen eye to eye, but after watching his speech on Gaza in the House of Parliament he has gone some way to redeeming himself.   He brought a tear to my eye.  You fucking tell them, George.

  1. Riveting and ‘to the point’ from George, as usual. I know he has his doubters, but if ever a politician used his standing in the way that decent people would like to see such privilege exercised, it’s him. My only regret from watching that, was seeing that the House was almost empty – and so it should be, come to think of it … how the likes of Brown + Cameron have the gall to show their faces anywhere, in light of their endorsement of Israel, is beyond me!

  3. Hiya,

Long time no post, you all right?

Thought I’d just give you the heads up – 114 people were arrested in Nottingham on Monday, and can’t now say anything at all to anyone about it because it might prejudice their trials.

It’d be really nice if other people could comment on the situation since those who were there can’t do so. Any mention of it would show solidarity with those who now can’t do much, and solidarity statements from groups or organisations would be really cool.

  4. Hi Alice,

Thanks for noticing I aint been posting! A little, or large, case of writers block possibly, or maybe lazyitis.

I am aware of the arrests in Nottingham, and I will try and see if I can muster some literary moral outrage on their behalf in the coming few days.

    Peace out.
